A 67-year-old patient and avid runner was diagnosed with a liver mass and was in the intensive care unit for 17 days. Unfortunately, he passed away a few months later at home. Prior to being diagnosed he was registered for the Boston Marathon. Dr. Jacqueline Cameron was also signed up for the marathon. She told him that if he was unable to run she would like to wear his number with pride. He agreed, and she completed the marathon for them both.
